Black grouper


There are 6 species of black grouper in Brazil, furthermore 3 species of the Grammistidae family, they have dark coloration (brown or gray, depending on the species), with spots whose standard and coloration also vary with the species. The black grouper is known for presenting great dark rectangular spots in the back and the flanks; it reaches around 1,5m of total length and 100kg.
It can be found along the sea bed near to rocks and gravel, the jig should be presented in a slow movement when searching these species.
